Stopped for a light brunch/lunch after a Dr. appointment in the area. Such a cute, quaint location. Clear and concise menu and very friendly staff members! We ordered a bagel sandwich and a cinnamon roll to eat in. Everything was fresh and delicious! The bagel sandwich was put together perfectly and not just slapped together - it took several minutes for it to come out but I prefer that anyway for quality food. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Comfortable and fun setting! I would definitely willingly return anytime!
The "real whipped cream" because "we only serve the finest" explained the handsome male behind the counter never melted. It's still a solid clump 12 hours later at the bottom of my otherwise 5-star beverage. The asparagus quiche was 5-star as well. Terrific patio!
Very cute cafe for bagel sandwiches and coffee! The shop and surrounding area reminds me of being up-north and is calm & charming. The bagel sandwiches are simple, but yummy - I got the turkey sausage. The coffee was good and they had a few seasonal specialty beverages. I got take out, but would love to return to try their lunch options and dine in - highly recommend!
The barista was helpful in answering questions and the food came out quickly. Parking was easy to access in the lot adjacent to the building.
Stopped for a leisurely breakfast. Both my daughter and I enjoyed bagles and coffee in a relaxed setting outside. We also split a delicious cannoli. Beware if you arrive in the afternoon, the kitchen closes an hour before their actual close. Only serve beverages and desert in the last hour.
The expansive seating inside and out (it wraps around the whole business) made this an easy choice for a lunch stop. There were great seating choices between cushions, rockers and picnic tables all under cover. Hearing my company speak to me was easy outside. While there was road traffic, the porch was set back enough so the noise wasn't an issue.
Getting into the parking lot and finding a spot was easy.
The chicken sandwich was delicious. I chose tomato, lettuce, mozzarella, basil and avocado spread for the toppings. They offer a variety of bread choices and the sour dough was so fresh, it tasted like it was made that day. I opted for cole slaw on the side. It tasted very unique. I would rate my sandwich a 4.
My drink was a caramel macchiato. The taste was disappointing. I would rate it a 2. The caramel sauce drizzle on top was tasty (I didn't make note of the brand. I was an uncommon name), but the balance of the drink was at the bottom of my choices against other shops. I noticed they use the Monin syrup brand for flavorings.
I tried the espresso cheesecake and s'mores for dessert. I'd give both a 5 rating. There was a good variety of desserts and Guernsey ice cream.
I would come again for the food, dessert and atmosphere. I would skip the coffee.
The place receives a two-star rating. The aesthetics and ambiance are charming and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a quaint coffee shop experience. However, the overall comfort and welcoming atmosphere of the place is immediately diminished by the interactions and appearance of the staff. All the staff members appeared disheveled and unkempt, raising concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the food. When inquiring about the origin of the bagels, some staff members seemed uninformed, while others responded with a dismissive attitude, offering no detailed description of their source. Moreover, the staff exhibited mocking facial expressions towards customers and seemed more interested in engaging in conversations amongst themselves. They also failed to establish eye contact with customers during interactions, further detracting from the overall experience.
A cozy place with lovely decorations and a chill vibe for gatherings. I ordered a 1/2 chicken pesto sandwich and a small soup of the day. They tasted okay 👍 Next time maybe I'll try something more adventurous! My friend got the holiday special, grinch matcha latte, and thought it was pretty good as well.
Great cafe on the side of the road
Amazing for a day date
Coffee choices and quality are great
Food is mediocre
Ceaser salad was awful
Broccoli cheddar soup was delicious
I would go back for ambiance
